The Nageshwarnath Temple is steeped in history and mythology. It is said that Kush, the son of Lord Rama, built the temple in honor of a Nag Kanya who was a devout follower of Lord Shiva. The temple has survived the ravages of time and remains a center for Shaivite worship in Ayodhya. Its towering spire, rhythmic bells, and daily rituals draw both devotees and tourists alike.
