About Keoladeo Ghana National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Keoladeo Ghana National Park (formerly Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary) is one of India’s most famous bird sanctuaries. It is home to over 370 species of birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Though not architectural in the traditional sense, the park features wetlands, marshes, woodlands, and grasslands designed as a man-made reservoir that now forms one of the world’s most important bird breeding and feeding grounds. Visitors can explore the park by walking, cycling, or hiring rickshaws guided by local naturalists.
