About Jaisamand Lake
Spanning an area of 87 square kilometers, Jaisamand Lake is the second-largest artificial lake in Asia. Built by Maharana Jai Singh in 1685, it is lined with marble steps, temples, and cenotaphs. The lake also has a beautiful island and is home to the Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary, making it a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
