About Gadisar Lake
Built in the 14th century by Maharawal Gadsi Singh, Gadisar Lake was once the main water source for Jaisalmer. Today, it’s a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy boat rides and admire the ornate gateways and pavilions along its banks. In winter, migratory birds flock here, making it a favorite spot for birdwatchers and photographers.
