About Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a well-preserved ghost city built by Emperor Akbar in 1571 as the Mughal capital. Abandoned after just 14 years due to water scarcity, it remains a showcase of Mughal planning and design. Major attractions within the complex include Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, and the tomb of Salim Chishti.
